About
I am Assistant Lecturer in the English Department at Szczecin University, Poland, where I currently teach Language of Literature and American Literature. My research interests are, above all, Victorian and Neo-Victorian literature, feminism and gender studies, gothic studies and lesbian literature. My MA was devoted to the feminine characters in Jeanette Winterson's ficition, whereas now I am working on the motif of female insanity in Victorian and Neo-Victorian novel. I am also a Conference Leader for the Femininity & Masculinity Global Conference organised by Interdisciplinary.Net and I co-organise Gender in English Studies International Symposium.
